The Studios

We can only help you create such warm and cuddled place with their help.

Youji Studio

The founder told us, they are passionate about each piece created, treating every work with care, and striving to make the most of every material by reusing and maximizing its potential.

They have two series that express their idea substantially, “Shell” and “Light”, where rough, dense saggar clay is used as a medium to express an understanding of nature, historical symbols, and an analysis of the intrinsic order of things.

Saucerman Fair

A studio run by a Siamese cat, where a group of artisans craft figurines dedicated to felines. The studio is dedicated to bringing out the hidden forms and beauty of felines, sharing these treasures with everyone willing to embrace the journey of becoming a devoted cat servant.

The creation of these cat figures is a lengthy process. From design, sculpting, polishing, and hydration, to coloring, the tool people carefully craft each piece. Every figurine undergoes over 10 hours of kiln firing, with a focus on handcraftsmanship to capture the essence and playfulness of each figure.

1219 Studio

Originally, 1219 Studio was a photography studio run by the founding couple, with pottery being just the wife’s hobby. It all started with a simple idea: using leftover clay scraps from other projects to sculpt a small portrait of their cat. However, her passion for pottery grew, and she has now been learning and practicing for four years, drawn to natural and rustic ceramic ornaments.

Currently, the wife is focusing on creating a series of incense stones made from Saggar clay, aiming to capture the adorable elements of nature in a style that is intentionally clumsy yet warm.
